Of course it's a short list. It's a top five. Did you expect a top five to be a long list?

Portland did better than a lot of other places, like San Jose or Sacramento. But then, that's obvious. And arguing is not allowed.

East St. Louis was the 2005 Per Capita Murder Capital of the US - 63.4 per population of 100,000 (extrapolated from a population of 31,000).

I once had a conversation about Niagara Falls (Yes, I do talk about it sometimes.) with someone in Houston. Thirty seconds into it, I could tell by his references that he thought Niagara Falls was outside NY City. I explained that it is - 400 miles

East St. Louis? Haven't been. Perhaps someday. What I'm waiting for is the crew from Elizabeth NJ to lodge a complaint about being left off this list.

There will be members of my family who will be upset that I put NYC at #1 instead of Boston, and it was a tough call, but NYC is bigger than just New York State, bigger than the East Coast even, it's America's downtown.

Greetings from Europe. Hey, thanks for that,… I enjoy your manner of presentation. I had the good fortune of growing up in Montreal. On this side of the wide water,… Amsterdam is magic,… but London is almost in a league of it’s own. Oh,… and
