Nice ride. Landing an aeroplane in a high crosswind can be VERY entertaining! Particularly if it is a student. :-)

Yeah, sorry for having been quiet, I've been a little unwell and then became busy filming and editing some stuff.(Not for LV.) 16 hours of footage for a 1 1/2 hr DVD project.

Yeah, I got up a pretty good head of steam on that one stretch. Wasn't quite at red line, but not far off. Plenty fast for that road!

While I'm not too sure how much M13 has to do with the state of things here at LV (although, he'd probably be happy to take credit!), I am pretty certain that his return to YT was one sign of the problems that were beginning to crop up.

Looks like you got more of that storm than we did. We had a couple of nice boomers roll through, but it was pretty quick.

Yeah it was close to 80 here on Sat and back to mid 50s today and go south of that for the rest of the week.

Funny old weekend, weather wise. I was glad to get in that 70 degree ride on Saturday afternoon. It was still blowing like stink, and about 25 degrees colder on Sunday.

Can't say as I've noticed any real technical issues here in the last week or so. more...

You got to watch out for those wet leafs. There slicker than owl shit for sure! Got allot of leaves down here. I don't know if LV will work out all there tech problems, I hope so, it's just very discouraging to wait 12 -24 hours to approve a video more...

I am always VERY careful when there are wet leaves around. They can have you ass over tea kettle in a heartbeat! Even at low speed.

This vid was approved and posted within a couple hours. Fingers crossed for LV!

I won't be riding in the next couple of weeks. The poly fairing is off right now to receive a new paint job.

The weird thing is we have exactly the same kind of weather here. Serious wind gusts.

Hey Maxxi ... surely you could take the bike out for a spin without the fairing on it. Unless, of course, it's in the shop.

that weather came up my way too, it got to about 67 this weekend!! i couldnt believe it. i would have gone out for a ride like you did.. but i put my bike up at the shop for the winter.

Those lanes through the woods are a little dicey this time of year. Wet leaves can be a real pisser!

I actually did have a big 'ol seagull hit me in the noggin one time. A perfect example of the helmet probably preventing a crash!

I haven't had either of my bikes out since the 4th. The weather has been too cold and wet for me since I don't have cold weather gear.

It's 34F and snowing here now, and we have a lake effect snow advisory until tomorrow evening :( I think it's going more...

Up your way, I would guess that a long, cold, winter is pretty much to be expected. A little milder down this way, but we do have our share of the cold stuff. Usually not that much snow, though.

I never put my bike up for the winter. Even if I can't get out for a short ride, I'll always at least start her up once a week or so.
