60s = Cultural Renaissance
Art, music, fashion in full force.....
Swinging London....The Love Generation.....
Sigh....
I was just a kid in the 60s....wish I had been old enough to participate in all the festivities.....
I'm a flower child at heart.....

You   more...

Worked in London in 1965, lived in Cricklewood just off the high street.......to say the least, was an interesting experience for a 21-yr-old straight out of Texas. "Mods" and "Rockers"; "Ready Steady Goes LIve"; "Not Only But Also"; "Z Cars"; beer   more...

lol I remember a huge raindrop landing on my socket line and causing a gap in my perfect eye make up. I was horrified when I saw myself in a mirror LOL xox

Sixites!!! Best decade ever, especially 1968..I wish I was 18 in 1968 in London. Excellent.

Except no Viet Nam, no wars.

Posted Aug 20, 08 by wheresthesea

Groovy. I was there also and yes it was a great time. Great music, changes in fashion and attitudes. Protests in abundance as ideas and decisions were questioned. Lots of fun. Did we live up to our ideals from back then? Take care.

They were primarily anti-war and I still am. It was great to be a teenager just when all that change was happening xox
