This was a hellava bitch to make. Just deciding who's POV was hard. I ended up switching it around. It starts as Bambi/Great Prince and then Bambi's mother more...comes into the mix, then it switches back to just Bambi/Great Prince, and then Bambi's mother is in there again. Try to imagine that the scenes with his mom are his adoptive mom, EXCEPT the chase seen up to her death and the dream sequence of her spirit.
The storyline:
The Great Prince keeps leaving Bambi alone. Finally Bambi must leave the Great Prince to live with his adoptive mother. But when he is in danger, the Great Prince is there to help him, but leaves again. Finally he's able to prove himself to his father, but Bambi dies in the process. He sees his mother on "the other side", but their reunion is short and Bambi's spirit leaves his mother's side to rejoin his father, and in the end, his father leaves him one final time. less
