I'm not sure if this advice comes to you too late, but someone might find it useful.
I don't have the luxury of time to inquire about more details of your male friend (such as if he's in school or what he plans to major or what vocational/professional more...interests he has or the dynamic at home,etc), so I'm going to make some presumptions--and base my comments accordingly.
Please keep in mind I'm shooting in the dark here. You can take as much as what I have to offer as you please--or totally disregard my advice.
I won't take offense--and hope you won't either.
The 1st thing that comes to mind is that your male friend may not be acting out because of the other girl--OR you, for that matter.
In fact, lots of high school & college age people respond with somewhat antisocial behaviors, in part, due to seemingly overwhelming pressures generated by other peoples expectations.
Is it possible your friend may not be happy, at this stage in life, due to a less than satisfactory academic career? Or perhaps he has not had problems with school work but is sliding for other reasons such as "guilt" feelings associated with his privledged life(my assumption,based on gut feelings from seeing some of your videos) in the context of the BIGGER picture--events finally given some light of day in our commercially driven, corporate owned mainstream media (ie: our gov't
failures at home & abroad)?
You may be too far into the forest to distinguish the trees--posting questions about what color dress to wear or wanting relative strangers to see you pour water over your brothers back,etc.
These aren't necessarily bad things. They can be somewhat endearing things. BUT, the bottom line here seems to be more about you.
When you're at home alone, late one evening, NOT online and with only your own thoughts, ask yourself some honest questions about what YOU want from life.
One question you might ask yourself is if you really are concerned about your male friend's behaviors or are you more concerned whether or not he will choose YOU over another girl?
Another question you might ask yourself is if you really want to go directly to college from high school--or perhaps postpone college at least two or three years, while you work full-time, living on your own or with female roommates, not too many miles from your parents?
I got the sense that you may have some delusions about how independent you may really be upon graduating high school.

talk to him first. he probably doesn't realize he's gone downhill. if he still doesn't care, you should probably go to someone who will handle it quietly (like a school conselour.) i mean, drinking is... bad. :(

you need to realize people only change when their environment change so once his gf is gone eventually he will become back to his normal self so its either you can wait for him to break it off or just make him do it to get your friend back i say wait more...
