That reminded me of when I was younger and I used to work on a Oil rig rescue vessel in the North Sea off the Phaero Isles....similar waters...I loved it. you dont really think of teh danger, I reckon if you did you would not do the job.

not many stories I am afraid, most of the time it was just really boring, we used to have to be out there for up to three months at a time with very little to do.
