All the women on my Moms side did.The church I was placed in early in life,, a tiny, tiny Methodist in the country. These ladies were quilt crazy lol lol. I rememer clearly not touching, but gazing in awe at the stages of their work. I have attempted

it, small scale.. baby blanket.. so its not really quilting. It was more learning it for fun, and gave it away as a gift.. My Mom, yes, our quilts growing up were not bought in a store.

It's almost like poetry, or poetry to video: disjointed elements coalescing into something substantive. (Wait, I think that's redundant.)

I know nothing about quilting. It is interesting how the thread unifies your disjointed pattern..Anti-pattern? It's like little thoroughfares to help my eyes make sense of it.
