The chief to indian ratio is particularly problematic in Mexico. Everyone wants to be the boss and prestige is perceived as only existing in management positions.

Managers without relevant experience can be a big problem. My division makes and tests strictly mechanical components but a good portion of the managers are electrical engineers.

The guy involved with the air hose incident was probably not right in the   more...

The management and project manger ratio to technician rate is way too high in my place of work. Sometimes you see meetings where two project manager attend the same meeting. It's a big problem. As the saying goes "too many cheifs and not enough indians".   more...

Yep, he sure got me rattled. I guess everyone gets shit like that at work. I think I find moaning about it helps, almost therapeutic lol

Iceman and Stacie, thanks as always.

"BLOKE".

I'm loving it. Man, you give me some of the biggest laughs of the day when I watch your videos...

Before I make a comment, I wish you luck on your prodject. I plan to do a vid and show you Smyrna's round about.

( Can't wait for that one, huh.)

Thanks for the good wishes Smyrna. He was lucky this time as one day that guy will run out of luck and mess with the wrong person.

Ugh! I'm going to comment on something completely different!

SAP, huh? I've not actually used their stuff. I just know the pricing. "How much have you got?" Just like Sybase and a few others.

Many is the time I've simply installed software that I   more...

I'm not sure of the SAP licensing costs but we have a massive SAP backend and about 2000 clients. I try to keep a very tight ship regarding my software. We lock down our machines tightly so only software repackaged by myself gets on to corporate machines.   more...

Boy, your accent is so difficult for me to understand! I had to stop and listen to some parts over & over again before the light bulb finally turned on.

How old was this guy at the "gas" station? What was he driving?

Posted Nov 23, 07 by lessdeth69
I had trouble with the first Swipe vid I saw. After about the 3rd vid my ear was trained and now I don't miss a word. I enjoy listening to different accents and slang, it is culturally very interesting.

Sorry about the accent. All the ums and ahhhs probably don't help things either. The guy was in about his early forties. I'm not sure what kind of car it was, some Japanese model, I think. All I remember is it was red.

I keep a hand tire pump and an accurate pressure gauge at home. Helps prevent those confrontations at the gas station (wish we had seen it!) :)

Yeah, probably a good idea. I guess I should really get the slow leak in that front wheel fixed then I wouldn't need to visit so often.

Like thundercat said, I thought it was just American's who were assholes. Glad to hear assholes are universal ;). Funny how some people can just be so oblivious.

Boy, I think 75% of motorcycle vloggers are in the IT field. Glad to hear IT departments   more...

That's not what TC said. He said Jersey, that ain't America (sorry TC).

Yep, there are assholes everywhere. I never really knew the professions of any other motorcycle vloggers, that's interesting.
