get yourself something small first ride the hell out of it for a few months and then move up to a 600 i have an older 6 and its still plenty of power i rode the 05 CBR600RR and its just to extreme and i know im not ready for it yet so im happy with my more...

its probly going to be a long while its going to be tore down and rebuilt but the rebuild is going to take a couple of months maybe sooner plus this bike is going to the track so its no longer going to be street legal when i get the fairings maybe even more...

The Kawi 250 is a good deal.. Ride the hell out of it then in about a year of getting your feet wet..Sell it and get a Kawi 600 or 750Gixxer or Cbr 600
