In reality schizophrenia is not a biological illness or disease, there is no fluid that can be extracted from the body to prove schizophrenia exists. schizophrenia can only be determined by behavior and symptoms. Of course a psychiatrist only has more...

Yeah, I think realizing I have a disease does help somewhat, however, there were times when I was really psychotic and I couldn't control my thoughts, because they were coming too fast. The medication in that case is a life-saver.

I just wanted to thank you for discussing your schizophrenia. I have never heard anyone with the disorder actually discuss it, but I do think that it is important because it illustrates that schizophrenia is not what hollywood has made it out to be. more...

Thanks. I'm glad you liked the video. I think it is important for more people who are doing okay to speak out, because hollywood really does portray the wrong image. Thank you again!
