I live in southern England and its the same story everywhere i think, people up north are thought of as poor, mean and violent, where as us in the south are known as snobs, soft and mouthy, lol, personally i think we create these divides in our own minds....its more...

My stereotype about the south is that the women are better looking or "kept". The other is manners. Sometimes I get paranoid that southern women are disapproving of me but they do it in such a kind way that I'll never know!

i like to think of myself as being able to look beyond state and skin and see what people actually do before making a judgment call. still get it wrong of course but such as life.

I lived EVERYWHERE as a kid, moving all the time. Northeastern schools are tougher than the rest of the country.
There are 8 elite Ivy League colleges in the northeast, while Rice is the only brainy level college in the South.
