I have owned only one credit card in my life and the only reason i did it is because at the time i had my own business and now i don't feel like i need one North America is a consumer society and the system is set up to keep you in debt and that is how more...

Credit cards are another vehicle ensuring through paper and debenture the slavery of the people to the corporations - and unfortunately it is a necessity in this day and age - even to rent videos for crying out loud.

That actually can be the good news, if we can get some people willing to put in a new system in power. I really hope the Congress votes the bailout down. But so many of them are of the investor class that they are going to vote for it.
