Thanks for the shout out. I'm glad that I could help. Sony seems to be a solid alternate choice since Kodak stopped making the v570.
One tip: if you order an extra battery (you will at some point probably), you may want to check out prices at wolfcamera.com,

they are like $56 at Sony and only $16 at wolfcamera. I ordered two extras...
This road really reminds me of riding in TN/NC/GA mountains...

every time I watch one of you vids I wish I could ride there.
The roads I ride look like this:

Good luck with the new setup, but man, get used to it before riding that road at any real speed. Camera setup changes can be pretty rough. Can't wait for the full screen goodness.

The only other obstruction that I notice is that when I am leaned over in corners like this the rear view mirror slips behind the camera....other than that all is good...

My front end is a bit wayward. It has progressive springs in there too but still bounces around, but less than with the stock springs that were very pogo stick like indeed. Looking forward to the full screen vids too.

Is the suspension on your bike adjustable front/back for compression, rebound or preload? I have found that over the life of a bike the suspension doesn't really get any better than when it was new if anything over time it looses more of its ability

to do its job due to spring sag and worn seals/oil. That's why I ask if you have an adjustable suspension. Once you have it dialed in for your weight the difference is like night and day.
