I don't edit too much. When I do I just use Windows Movie Maker.
I usually just take clips from the AVI file to upload.
I use AVI Split http://www.bobyte.com/ to cut the clips from the original file. Its free.

I got rid of my Sony analog setup and now have a digital ELMO SUV cam. It sure is great not having to transcode the AVI files anymore or fool with the MiniDV tapes. Right from the SD card to the computer. Done. I'll let you know if I find something more...

What do you use for editing your video? I'm just using Windows Movie Maker.
