A band that uses alot of distortion would be a good choioce for a beginner. Distortion is very forgiving.

yes it does indeed... it's ideal for hiding the lack of talent which is good in my case.

probably a industrial/hard rock type of band, I think that's more ideal for me... I know my options are limited just like my guitar playing abilities.
