Wow, what a strange and exciting day it will be to get that phonecall. Cool story :)

Strange and exciting is right, Kat! I'm hoping that they'll write a letter or e-mail me first so I can get emotionally prepared. But I'm open to however they want to make contact, because I'm pretty sure they will be as nervous as I am (until the ice   more...

Super interesting. I hope you do get to meet some of the children you helped create. What you did was a wonderful thing. You gave the unselfish gift of a child to someone who could not have a child of their own. ~~~Lynn

And had fun doing it! LOL

In all seriousness, Lynn, I appreciate your comment a lot. I, too, would love to meet some of the kids, and hear about their lives. If I'm still on LiveVideo when that happens, I'll be sure to make a vlog about it.

I know, I'm excited (and a little nervous), too! :-)

This is fascinating from start to finish, my prolific friend. :-)

I am honored by your kind and sweeping statement, Nash. :-)

(By prolific, I'm assuming you're not speaking about the number of videos I produce, hehe.)

Yay! You answered my question first!

That was pretty interesting, what if all 11 contact you? Wouldn't that be insane? I think its great that you gave them the option to contact you though.

yeah i ment san fran, my bad!

Posted Dec 17, 07 by rainbowbrightxx
Well I guess you do have a better chance with those two, that would be cool.

Posted Dec 17, 07 by glad2bhere
Yes, and thanks for biting the bullet and asking this question, Amber! :-)

Two of the kids may very well contact me at the same time, since the sperm bank told me that there were two siblings produced (both from the same mom, but not twins). I guess   more...

Interesting!!! Thats pretty neat. Opting for them to be able to look you up is a great idea.....I hope.
May be a bit scary if ALL 11 showed up HA!

Posted Dec 17, 07 by glad2bhere
It would definitely be scary if that happened! Fortunately, they don't all turn eighteen at once, since I did this over a period of two years. The place where I donated told me that statistically, some children never look you up, some of them meet   more...

ha ha ha!...so you have several kids out there! lol

Posted Dec 17, 07 by glad2bhere
By the way, thanks for watching and commenting, Ferdz! :-)

Yes, eleven to be exact. The sperm bank had to stop at that point so that my genes wouldn't crowd the gene pool. In other words, to make it less likely that my offspring would accidentally marry each other and have babies!
