This time through I see all the division - broken hearts, the yin-yang symbol, splits down the middle of the page. The flag across and the buildings up and down, division. It is so much for us to take in as adults... I can only imagine what it is more...

It distresses me that the kids are drawing stuff like that...I used to draw pictures of my family, house, bike, skateboard, dog so on, now we see little kids worrying about death like that..I don't think I even knew what a terrorist was until I was about more...

I'm glad the children are given an opportunity to express their feelings through art. A credit to you and the other teachers in the school - the kids are a creative bunch and that is a cause for hope too.
I did grow up in a world of fear, as there was more...
