1. They claim Jules went to the Alleged Odor of Alleged Gas for "basically camera practice." But Wikipedia says both brothers were graduates of the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, aka NYU Film School. Further, Jules was credited as the Cinematographer more...on their award-winning 1995 movie:

So, did he have a stroke or something like that, between '95 and '01, that made him need to re-learn camera work on 9/11?

2. The pre-1st Hit shot of the Towers from the O'O' Gas intersection (Church & Lispenard). They just had to be sure to get the last picture ever of the Towers in an un-attacked state. Also, very important, if they did NOT include this shot, the actual 1st Hit shot a moment later would have been too unbelievable. We wouldn't be able to say "wow he filmed the 1st Hit," we would be stuck saying, "whoa, the Towers were visible from that O'O'Gas location?!"

3. The 8-Second Stall. That's how much time I count between when they stop checking for gas and when they start reacting to the overhead sound. They got done a little too soon and had to stand around doing nothing, waiting for their cue to react. Watch Pfeifer fiddle with the gas-sniffing instrument without actually checking its reading. Watch him look blankly around. Watch him put his hand in his pocket, then remember he's on film, and take it back out. Also, since when it is SOP to step directly onto a grate that you suspect is leaking an explosive substance -- and not even have any of your protective ff gear on when you do so?

4. One brother assigned to each tower? Yes, basically. Also, Gedeon got his own 1st Hit shot, but it was of the pedestrian reaction, not of the actual impact:

shot 11 blocks closer to WTC on the same street as Jules (Church-Murray instead of Church-Lispenard). The narration claims Gedeon was at the firehouse during the 1st Hit, but this footage indicates otherwise. Gedeon inexplicably claims he WALKED to WTC from the firehouse after the 1st Hit -- why not ride with the firemen instead? Wasn't he "getting accepted" enough for that?!

5. You make a minor mistake in saying the narration has Tony & Gedeon being with Jules at O'O'Gas. That's only Jules' incorrect recollection. This major point of confusion is introduced in order to enable the very important Separation Anxiety subplot, wherein each brother thinks the other dead.

yes, i didn't have this at first; i actually went back and changed it because his "bad memory" is still not *combatted* by the evidence in the film.

most likely, he is protected from the truth like many others. when he feels "had," and realizes what he has endorsed, maybe he'll genuinely make a public stink about it.
