the way I did it was I made a page of notes listing each point I wanted to make to keep myself from rambling off-track.

YOU should do one of these, as well. People are just as curious about your processes as they are mine.

This is priceless. I always thought I was the only geek that would sit through a movie with the comments feature turned on the DVD. I love your creativity and desire to share it with us. Thanks.

Thanks, bun....I also get told I'm full of the OTHER stuff, too. How else would I know how to perform that elevator scene so realistically, huh?

By the way, I wanted to ask you, Sir Dixon. What program do you use to do the background images and such? The animations are mainly what I'm referring to.

Posted Aug 16, 07 by BaronDixon
You export the Flash animation to an AVI, and then you import THAT into MAGIX or WMM or whatever (Quicktime for Mac users using Final Cut Pro).

Posted Aug 16, 07 by DarkMessiahNF
I have ImageReady and Photoshop and Flash. But I had no idea Flash videos could be imported in Magix. Though I've never tried, either. Are the other ones expensive?

Posted Aug 16, 07 by BaronDixon
All the imagery, from the sets to the special effects elements are created in Adobe Photoshop.

I use 5 different programs for animation, depending on the nature of the animation:

ADOBE IMAGE-READY which creates animated GIF's.

FLASH

ONHAND's WILD PHOTO EFFECTS   more...

I realy enjoyed that!! Very skiled and creative work!!

Think of how use of these techniques could just blow the lid off of what you can do with puppet shows, Shaz! Actually what I'm doing here is not that much different from the shows Sid and Marty Kroft did in the 1970's with both puppets AND humans!

Thank you very much, Dane!

If you go back a ways in the Tyrannovision album, you'll find "The Tyrant: Resurrection" and along with that, TWO commentary versions: one with MY commentary and one with Peter's (LtAdams2247)commentary, and you'll get a nice   more...
