Love this topic :) I'd have to say my favorite writers are Barker and especially Lovecraft, the whole Necronomicon legend is awesome. As far as movies go, I'd have to say the original TCM, the original Omen, Army of Darkness, the first Nightmare on Elm
more...
Street, and, just for interesting deaths, the entire Final Destination series is fun. My favorite villain, though I'm not sure if he counts, would be Mickey from Natural Born Killers, love that movie too.

Hmm.. I love horror movies also. My top five, in no particular order, are The Beyond (Lucio Fulci), The Shining (the Kubrick version), Blood & Donuts, Feeze Me, & Battle Royale (Not technically a horror movie, but I consider it one.) (Oh, and Uzumaki
more...
is a good one) The last three are Japanese movies, which are part of my favorites. You might want to check them out though. They are not like the remade American ones you are probably familiar with.
My favorite horror writer is far and away, Bentley Little.
And check out Rue Morgue magazine. It's expensive, but if you really like all aspects of horror, you can't be without it. http://www.rue-morgue.com/

Thanks... Have you ever seen Blood & Donuts? And if you like slasher flicks, try Freeze Me. That may be one Japanese one you'll like.

I'm not a big fan of Japanese horror whether it's the original version, or the american remake...I just dont enjoy it very much, and I dont know why.
Rue Morgue is an awesome magazine. Once a month I head down to Barnes & Noble

my computer is INCREDIBLY lame and won't let me finish any videos all the way through... So, I'll just tell you that I'm the biggest wimp ever, but my favorite horror-ish film is Sleepaway Camp. It's one I can watch over and over again. Really bad

acting, but really worth watching. If you have any recommendations for me, I'd gladly take them. I'm just now starting to watch them more than I used to.
BTW yay for people being good cooks! I'm cooking for my family Tuesday when I'm off from work. :)

it's funny that you bring up Sleepaway Camp, because Angela (original Angela, not the one from the sequels) is my FAVORITE horror vilian!

Tony Todd as Candyman was classic!
Ok, I'm also a HUGE horror buff, I live eat sleep and breathe horror... That said, I can say with absolute confidence that my all time favorite horror film is John Carpenter's The Thing. It's a classic and if you haven't
more...
seen it yet, do so immediately.
My favorite horror villain took me a long time to figure out. there are so many good ones out there, but in the end I have to go with The Creeper from Jeepers Creepers. they never explain exactly WHAT he is and he has a wickedly twisted sense of humor and I enjoy that.
As for horror writers? I do enjoy Stephen King, but my ALL TIME favorite horror novel is Dean Koontz' Phantoms, so I'll have to go with Dean Koontz, although Brian Lumley is really good. He wrote the Necroscope series and if you haven't read that I suggest checking it out.
Good video with good questions!

to think of where the fuck he came from.
Never read any of Lumley, but I've heard from others that he's a good writter. My favorite Author is, and will always be, H.P. Lovecraft.

HAHAHA that movie is fucking terrible, but I like it too.
I love Freddy vs. Jason, and I really don't know why.
nice top 5. and actually, Jason X is one of the better made sequels (both me and several horror fans agree) even if the premise is fucking rediculous.
