Nice story. Being too hot on a bike can be very uncomfortable but I guess if it came to the crunch I'd prefer that to being so cold your whole body is numb. I remeber back to when I was 17 and as was working nights stacking shelves at a supermarket.

i used to ride home in a morning at -8C and arrive home with numb hands. I remember being close to tears on a few occasions when they began to warm up and the pain you sometimes get when they warm too fast is just agony.

I've been meaning to do a cold weather video. Or any video for that matter. I'm just in a bit of a blue funk right now and not getting anything done.

Chipotle. You can use those blue nitrile goves under your gloves to help blockwind too. Also for bikes with no windscreen.....get heated grips.

Where's the chipotle come from? Or did you just happen to notice the one in the vid? It's only been open about a month and seems to be doing well. Can't afford heated grips, don't think they'd really be worth it down here anyway with our short winters.

Should I wind up in Tn that will be a very different story though.

I know they make silk glove liners, not sure much much they help though. Could always go electric? :)

I could go electric, but those are expensive, kinda tedious, and I have enough wires hanging out of that bike as is. Don't think I need too many more, really. I am going to look into the ones that WilsonRydeR69 mentioned, you probably should too since

Also makes you sweat like a bastard, unless its breathable. Like putting a bin liner over you! Nice story! :0)

When you're doing 70mph in 35f whether, nothing will make you sweat. :P It was a welcomed warmth.

Well, they were the warmest gloves I could find, and I was buying them anyway...so him lieing isn't a HUGE deal, its just irritating.
