Kisame is following Naruto and the others... little does he know there is someone else on HIS tail.
Kisame: "Orochimaru may be one of the legendary sannin... more...but I'm sure Sasori could handle him, if he defeated the sand's best Kazekage."
Suddenly, a sword is launched right in front of Kisame. He doesn't recognize the blade, but realizes he'll have to take down another person before getting to Itachi.
Kisame: "What's this? Did Orochimaru defeat Sasori after all?"
???: "No. Your teammate won. But unfortunately, you won't be as lucky."
Kisame: "Heh, you think so? Why don't you reveal yourself?"
A familiar figure then comes out of the bushes: Itachi's younger brother.
Sasuke: "Well, well. Itachi's buddy's here."
Kisame: "Sasuke, huh? I wonder how you feel... Orochimaru's gone."
Sasuke: "I'm only disappointed he was disposed of before I could get strong enough."
Kisame: "Heh, even if that snake lasted longer, you will never be able to defeat Itachi."
Sasuke ignores Kisame's remark, and notices an unconscious Sakura on his side.
Sasuke: "What's this? Did Itachi send you to get him a girlfriend?"
Kisame: "You're funny. I have bigger plans."
Kisame then attempts to leave, but Sasuke quickly moves in front of him.
Sasuke: "Nope. Your plans end here... as well as Itachi's!" *Activates Sharingan*
Kisame: "Poor boy... it seems that today, Itachi will be the last existing Uchiha."
*Battle Begins*
