wanted to see what sunday school was like, so my parents let me try it, but I was never pushed in a particular direction). Things have to be logical and sensible for me - and stand up to scrutiny.
I work without deity, manipulating energy that has proven it's existence to myself - I tried the Wiccan path but it just wasn't for me. I can't remember off the top of my head which one it is, but in one episode I explain exactly why Wicca wasn't for me.
Some covens are made up of great people, and others are rife with 'Bitch Craft' and Ego (we're dealing with humans after all). I chose to be a solitary because I don't always play nice with other children, particularly not the ones with large egos and a desire to be 'boss'! haha.
I must confess I don't rate Sylvia Browne, primarily because she is very 'showbiz' and put herself up for public humiliation when she was on Montel Williams' one day and every single thing she had predicted was wrong. I think she's very adept at picking up on body language, what is known as a 'cold reader'. If you watch her enough times you'll see how well she manipulates people into giving her information. John Edward, on the other hand really is good.
The one thing I would say to anyone looking for a life philosophy that makes sense to them is to read anything and everything you can get access to, and talk to lots of people from different backgrounds (if you have a look at my friends list you'll see lots of people with very different points of view, and that's a good place to start from).
