It never even dawned on me that you would feel like this. How interesting and sad. I wonder if other vloggers feel like this? Several times I have heard of certain indian tribes not wanting their picture taken because they believed it stole their soul.   more...

as listen to you again, your first few sentences seem sad to me... I understand reluctant, it just seems sad.. there ya go like Sue making me think past my emotions 8-)

it's not sad. It is a function of language

Perhaps this is why allegory can be used so effectively as a way to convey images/emotions to a memory/experience, yet retain the original experience as untold. Allegory will expand, rather than diminish.

I understand the idea of expanding someones life, but to tell a story is to literally give something of yourself to another. A moment, a memory, emotion, feeling, aroma.. Things that cant always be expressed in words to really share what you really experienced.   more...

Hmmm, I enjoy telling stories. I think that doing so brings it back to life to me,as I recall elements that I had forgotten. It keeps it alive also in the people that hear it. Deposited in their brain, they remember it all of a sudden in the future and   more...

I love your vlogs, with or without stories, you're always making me think about things in a whole new light, and I love that. Thank you so much for that!

the best stories I've ever heard, always left plenty up to the listener -- and your adaptation of words are cherished as a precious memory every time I hear them -- that's satisfaction!!!

huggin' you dear lady -- >".."<

There's something very cathartic in story telling. I know I carried an intense grief for years, until I released that story and now it is altered. Memories, stories do feel more intimately mine when not shared.
I like this vlog especially. today.
