Hey. This is my first post ever on this site. Actually created a profile just to write this. When i was three or four my family bought a dog. I grew up with it: she was a friend to me like no other, and was always there for me. (clich, i know, but true

nonetheless). Some of my fondest memories are of her. When i was 17 she got really really sick, pretty much over night. My parents called the vet and he told us it was some obscure disease. I dont know the english word for it. She had to put down. The vet started pulling out the stuff he needed to do it. Small bottels with all sorts of warnings on them. My dog was uneasy and the vet wasent able to administer the tranquilizer properly. So I had to put her my lap and pet her to calm her all the while the vet gave her the tranquilizer. The tranquilizer was apparently for numbing her body, not the mind and she was so scared and she was looking at me, pleading me to help her. But i couldent do anything. I just had to sit and watch while he killed her. Then the vet pulled out this huge syringe, filled with some nasty green liquid and jabbed it into her heart. I could feel the life running out of her, her panicky breath slowly comming to a halt. Sitting there petting her is one of the hardest things I have EVER done and even though is 3 years ago it still hurts when i think of it. And thats why everytime someone dog is ill they have my deepest sympathy. I really truely hope that motley is going to be okay. Oh and just to top it off, they day they put her down was december 16.. Merry christmas. Sry for telling such a sad story.

Hey Alex
well.... once my mum ran over my dog (accident! I swear!) and she was whimpering and squealing (as they do..) so we took her to the vet and she said that if my dog didn't stop limping in the next week it meant she had a broken hip and we would

have to put her down, so that was a pretty upsetting time for me (and she was only about 3 years old). luckily she has stopped limping and she's ok now. I really hope motley is alright, keep your hope high <3
