I don't think any of it is computer genterated, it looks like it's all HD and for a IMAX dome. Oh and planes can move like that in real life, not all planes but high performance can.

It's from a French film in 2005 called Les chevaliers du ciel (Sky fighters or Knights of the sky). They did use digital compositing techniques for in-cockpit views with the actors (which aren't shown in this edit), but CGI was not used on this film more...
