This part is about Valjean, who promised Fantine that he would adopt her daughter, Cosette, as his own, is going to Paris to fetch Cosette. On the way, he runs into Javert, who refuses to let Valjean escape this time. They get in a fight, and thanks to his superhuman strength, Valjean wins, leaves Javert unconscious, and flees to Paris to rescue Cosette from the Thenardiers. less
