Yummy,but I can't have lard, or fat. What would be the best substitute. When I bake bread, I use olive oil, or vegetable oil. Would that be possible to substitute one of these for the lard?

Crisco is pure vegetable shortening. But if you can't have it I would say use the oil. I think it should work okay. Let us know how it works for you. :-)

I used to love baking yeast breads and rolls. Yes, I really could smell your rolls. LOL

Try this easy recipe, Judith. It keeps for 4 days in the fridge and you can just pinch off a couple of rolls at a time, as needed. :-)
