If I'd known we were getting a refund, I would have done them the first week of February. This is our first refund in ages. But, yes, then I filled my tank...

Refund checks arrived in the mail a couple of weeks ago... I still hate the ritual, though.

I usually break even - either owe or get back a couple hundred -so I'm always waiting until April.

Thanks for the footage. I'm still compiling material for my video on the dangers of videotaping while driving.

Same in Canada except all forms must arrive by Feb.28 and tax filed by April 30. I did not get a form for $1250 last year and I forgot to report it. The tax department charged me $1500 back taxes and fines. I would have been better off not getting the   more...

Ah, yes, Canadian gas! Back in the day, people would cross the border into Canada for the sole purpose of buying gas. A combination of the monetary exchange and lower prices caused lines of cars with New York state license plates at Canadian pumps!
