and from what my father said it has torque unlike the new sport bikes

since i took this video i got a xj550 1982
while exhilarating, its not to fast and will be a great learner bike while i am fixing the z1 up

YEAH YEAH My 1st bike is my 750 GSXR and was my 1st ride , but every 1 told me to get a 250 for my 1st ride and i was like no way man.... so im glad i got a 750 because my car beats 600's and 1000's are a bit heavy to corner fast ....

Not for a first time rider.Hit a bump in the road twitch
the throttle and put your self on the pavement.If it was stock it still would be a bit much.Are you used to the weight.Got your riding skills down,shifting,braking,etc.My .02 c.

first time street rider i ride off road, or did, all the time

the weight is no problem i can pick the bike up off its side easy

gday, can I suggest something a bit smaller as your first street bike. I've been ridin' offroad and road for 2 yrs on my KLX 250,(as you know) and my first street bike will be 600 to 650. If that helps.
