Nice work DP. I also wish I had your carpentry skills. The best I've done so far is make a log store out of some old pallets.

Hey Swipe. I probably could have used old pallets to make this thing! It's not very pretty, but does the job just fine.

I bought myself a couple of wheel lock for $50. Nice thing about them is they adjust automatically to the wheel sizes of different bikes.

What is the brand name and / or the web site for that chock?

That looks like a pretty nice wheel chock for only $50. I probably would have bought one of those if i had run across it.

The vid didn't show good enough to determine but does the chock come in contact with the brake rotor? or do you have that portion of the wood routed out? Does the top piece of wood swivel?
Good job!

You pretty much nailed it. Those braces were hollowed out a bit to make room for the brake rotors, and the top block does swivel to make contact with the tire properly.

Wish I had the skills to make something like that.

If I were to apply a carpentry skill level of 1 to 10 on this thing, I would rate it about a 3. I'm sure you could make one if you wanted to. It's only drawback is that it's not readily adjustable for different front tire sizes. But I'm only using

it for the one bike, so that isn't really an issue.
