Nice segment. It looked as if you were really flying.

Thanks Slodeth5, We were mostly taking it easy. You never know when that gravel is going to show up.

is rc31 another name for your bike? where is the 31 coming from?

those are nice bikes, i sat on one yesterday (599), really comfy positioning and good quality and feel to it. the one i sat on was either low miles or a leftover as it was $7,300 US.   more...

oh ok, i was all confused now i got it

RC31 is another name for the Bros/Hawk and also the user name of the other rider in the vid. Yep, the Hornet is a totally different model as Fud says. I agree the 599s are very nice bikes.

Well, the black tar washed off the sides of the car with white   more...

RC31 is a user name. The 599 is known as the Hornet 600 in the UK. The Bross/Hawk is a completely different bike.

is there any way you can write the town and get them to pay for damage to the car?

ive not heard of that style of paving using chips, over here they chop it up and lay the black top down with a big machine.

Good video, nice to see you have a riding buddy.
I keep pestering the Bro-in-law to come out, but he works a lot at weekends.

Yep, it's good to ride out with someone else for a change.

Swipe, I have noticed alot of hedges along the road. What is the purpose of that? (noise barrier?)

Posted May 28, 08 by Swipe
The hedges act as boundaries for the fields and also to stop cattle walking on to the roads.

Enjoyable ride...thanks. The bikes look good together. What's the installation status of your bike's new exhaust system?

Posted May 28, 08 by Swipe
It's still in the box over here, and the bike is over at my parent's garage. The stock exhaust has a hole forming in the muffler, maybe it sounds a bit louder of late. I'll put it on when I bring the bike back here at the end of June.

Funny how you don't see many old yams, kwacks and especially Suzi's on the road, don't you think?

Old BM's & Hondas are everywhere. A guy down the road from me has a 94 blade, all original and still mint. You just don't see other 14yo Jap bikes like   more...

Posted May 27, 08 by Swipe
Yep, that's very true. Can't beat a Honda for longevity. The bonus with the Bros is there are very few rustable parts on the bike as most of it is aluminium.

Last year I got to ride with two other bikes like mine. One was an '04 model, the other was an '06. I didn't record the ride. But I did record the meet up with a bunch of other bikes in Ephrata, PA.

There are a few "sealed" roads over here. They lay   more...

Yep, exactly what this stuff is. They seemed to be doing all the roads around there that week. It wasn't the first one I ran into. One day was normal and the next it was tarred and chipped.
