Yeah, your set up is like mine. The only difference is that i mounted a triangular shaped pice (if you see it from the side) to get my angle right on the cam.

I was using spacers for a while but couldn't get the right angle without slamming the camera against my nose.

That's why I cut intot he rubber membrane.

Excellent. This is perfect. Great video with detailed information. Doesn't bother me that the video is not as high quality as the v570 because I have my SLR to take still shots. Plus quality isn't really noticeable on YouTube and LV. Thanks a bunch   more...

Hey man, thanks for posting. Always looking for different ways to do the whole helmet cam thing. I like how your camera is more of a narrow vertical setup than a horizontal type. I was looking for a camera like that in order to set my helmet up as   more...

I like the narrow vert setup. Not that you lose much field of vision with the horizontal setups but you can't even see the camera this way.

Very nicely done. Glad someone has found a cheaper alternative to the Kodak v570.

Thanks

Well Wilson I did say MANY ways, not all ways. The battery is replaceable and you can purchase them off the creative site or any radio shack along with a stand alone charger.

More importantly it provides easy, available entry into vlogging that just isn't   more...

....so exactly how is it more effective in many ways?

What if I'm out in the middle of nowhere and the 2 hours are up...the battery is drained and the memory used up? With the V570 I replace the battery and SD card ....I'm guessing I have to bring my   more...

In many ways it's more effective. The video quality is lower (not a big deal or even noticeable for youtube and live video posting) but 2 hours of continuous video is hawt.
