for the better? probably not. i know what you mean about new cars. i used to service my own, and now i don't bother, which is bad, because i almost forget such basics as oil and air filter changes! (never used to.) i had a couple of clunkers like what more...

I follow in your footsteps starting 1n 1944. I am in Canada but had a 1960 Morris Oxford that refused to start when it rained and I would crank it. Quick summary, radio after supper then tv that faded in and out, colour tv, stereo 8 track, cassette decks, more...
