Today in my city, the City Council is going to re-address proposal 287(g).
This proposal will give the police in our city authority to begin deportation proceedings for illegal immigrants that have been convicted of VIOLENT CRIMES.

for Latin American Advancement in our city has put together a protest, expecting around 5,000 people to descend on our downtown area to OPPOSE this. They are not even saying they are going to deport people who are illegal immigrants, just the ones CONVICTED of violent crimes, my mind cannot grasp why anyone would not support this proposal. I am livid about this.
This video states everything I would like to scream into this crowd of jerks.
