ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL Georg!! How high is the main spire, presumably on the main cathedral?!
My father has pictures of this that he took when Mont San Michel was surrounded with water... of course, that was a rather long time ago... under less than
more...
perfect circumstances.

The hight is about 80 m from sea level
To me an amazing place. The want to retore the old situation with water surrounding it and then build a bridge
I guess the rising sea level well also do its part

How nice when you know that amazing place. I had that drem also for years until i made it to see Brittany on a tour in 1994, a bit old VHS Film thats why the colours have faded. I still hope its worth the upload.....
