If the powers that be were to make a movie based upon the characters of Denny and Alan, there could be two Oscars for William and James to go along with the Emmys.

Oh I definitely only watch the show for Bill's portrayal of Denny. His interaction with Alan is awesome and makes the show. Many times I would trade watching the entire episode for the balcony scene alone. However, I do respect Bill's lack of "star more...

Very true. Whole reason why I started watching BL and why I'm hooked is because of your character and what you, as a person and actor, bring to Denny. Its quite amazing. I think your best TV character since Star Trek, in my opinion.

i have all ways told friends here the same thing if you were not on as Denny Crane i would never have watch the show and i know for a fact that if Denny Crane ever left i would stop watching it for sure

I never watched The Practice and at first I could not 'get' Boston Legal.Then Australia took it off, not enough ratings, I think the Emmy's helped and then it was back again.
I would agree with Dyanni . that without the Denny Crane character more...
