fascinating especially because of the witnesses who said there was "no lobby left" after the explosion. if witnesses saw total destruction, why does the video show a pristine lobby? :) hmmm

1. You refer to J's 1st Hit as vid of first time "an aluminum plane vanished entirely into the side of a steel building." Actually there's no plane in that clip; see frame-by-frame enlargements at

2. Regarding distance and travel more...time from Gas intersection to T1, and why no footage in between. The distance from camera to impact was 7/10ths of a mile. There IS footage of the ride to T1, as well as comments that it didn't take but a few short minutes, ON THE DVD.

3. Regarding lobby wreckage. Note lack of actual CHARRING from the alleged fireball-down-the-elevators damage. Also why would the fireball stop there instead of blowing out the BASEMENT? Or did it blow out ALL EIGHTY floors' elevators? Note the potted plants right near the elevators -- totally undisturbed! Finally zoom in close on the damaged windows, the breakage is exotic, long thin wispy fingery tendrils of glass still hanging, unlike any glass breakage I've ever seen.

3. You make an innocent but major error in thinking G and T went to T1 with J. That's just what JULES THOUGHT happened. They have J tell it this way in order to set up the Separation Anxiety subplot, wherein each brother thinks the other dead, only to be reunited later (the reunion moment caught ON CAMERA, of course!). If J had admitted he knew G was back at firehouse, not at Gas intersection with J, then J could not later to pretend to think G dead when J saw T1 disintegrate. "FOR ME, it was me and him" at the Gas site. It wasn't REALLY both of them there, says the narration, J just THOUGHT so, we're supposed to believe.

4. It follows that officially, G's pre-2nd-Hit walking-to-WTC footage was his FIRST trip there that day.

5. Regarding G's 2nd Hit footage, you ask 'Why three cuts, but seamless audio?' Fine question, but heck, why does he tilt down away from the action just as the explosion is starting

And, notice the deliberate camera wobble as he runs away. Both brothers add "shaky drama" in this way at various times. The main Jules example that leaps to recollection is as he's at the bottom of a staircase inside T1 during the Demolition of T2.

again, on the "G and T went to T1 with J," i am not arguing that it actually happened, but only presenting the "Official Story" more...

The audio of the WTC2 "plane impact" is an amazingly weird and silly sample. As a recording engineer (and part-time drummer..) I 'd say the sample contains either a Zildjan or a Paiste cymbal (crash or splash - whatever... )
