Melissa? Are you still out there? How are you doing???
Consider joining http://vidivlog.ning.com/ which seems to be calm for now, anyway.
I keep thinking about you not having anyone to suppo0rt you through all this. I KNOW there are several people on there

that have been through cancer of various sorts.
As for me, I haven't had cancer, but I never got pregnant anyway. I know that feeling of being ready to have one of your own, and it just isn't working out. Every pregnant belly and every baby-carriage pokes you in the eyes and in the heart!
There are other ways to have children, though. As you get used to the situation, maybe adoption or fostering might be ways for you to have children you can give lots of love to.
We were never settled enough to go through processes like that in the time we should have done it. BUT, we are lucky enough that family and friends trust us to "borrow" their kids. The eldest is now 21 and the youngest arrival is 5. - well - besides my 4-year-old niece. Still - it is a real luxury to be able to borrow kids for a day or a week or a holiday and not have the everyday worries of parenting ;-)
I hope your cancer is all gone and that your worries are diminishing! I am SURE there are both in-real and on-line support groups around for you as well!
BIG TEDDY-BEAR HUGS!!

I don't pop into LiveVideo much nowadays (I tend to be at Livevideo Ark) but realised you had put this up in January. So sorry to hear your news. I'm sorry you've had a bad and frightening time and that your latest news is not encouraging for you. You'll

be in my prayers. I hope all the treatment is straightforward and you can start to get your life back soon despite the sadness.

in over there. And you are welcome to lurk and just watch and/or comment. No stress!
Writing as a woman that never did get pregnant, and having gone through the part about realising that I would probably never have kids, I know what you mean about seeing babies everywhere! I know you have probably heard it from others, but I want to remind you that you will not love a child any the less if it is not born by you. You can adopt and you can foster. I know it wouldn't be the same as a child "made of" you and your hubby, but it will still be someone who depends on you and enriches your life. Keep it in mind. You at least have that option.
As for the cancer. I am amazed at how far they have come in treating uterine cancer! I, personally, am optimistic that you will get through this and have it as a rough experience to LOOK BACK ON in a while.
Although you and I havent known each other long, I appreciate your kind soul and that you are one of the good people out there. You will be in my thoughts and prayers! Big cuddly hugs to you!

free.
If you are meant to be a mother, you will be one. It may not be the mother of a child you make but it will be mothering a child that has been made specifically for you. Take care of your health and remember that just because you can't bare a child, it doesn't mean you aren't a mother.
Take care and I hope to still hear from you once in a while.

Melissa, we love you so much. How ironic that I just got my internet service back today and you're back. *hugs* I have Turner's Mosaic and thus ovarian failure. I can not have children either. I was diagnosed at 21. I am now 32. The pain, let down, and

sadness does heal with time.Though we may not hold a child we carried in our womb, we can heal, fill ourselves with love, so that we can share our joy with others in the world. As women we can be mother to all who need one.
