If you try you can hear it alright. Not all of it but some of it. I think the fact it is quiet expresses alot aswell.

Your sound was OK in your first videos, i think there might be something wrong with your mic! it would probable work better more...

I know what your saying, but it does surprise me a little that it is that bad, by cheap Kodak camera is over 3 years old yet it's sound recording is a lot better, it just makes me wonder if as well as what you said it is damaged??

Yeah. The microphone in the camera has a low quality compresser from the sound. Which means below a certain volume it doesn't actually capture any sound. And if someone speaks quiet it tries to amplify slightly but sue to it being a low quality camera more...
