I had 12 years of experience when I got my first "powerful" bike.....the CBR600RR and I still almost crashed it the first week.....but my experience got me out of it. If I owned the CBR as a first bike.....I would've totalled it for sure.

The lack of traffic...and width of the roads....blows my mind. Litteraly......they're all over the floor right now.

I'd say most people in America would react the same about roads in Taiwan...."Is Mordeth riding on a Golf cart path??"

That was a great vid. You basically mirrored all my feelings about the bike. The advice on buying the bike from a dealer was great.

I also agree with you about the Riders Club. When I was still new I lowsided around a low speed corner on some sand.   more...

A 250 is an excellent first bike, acceleration is more then enough! But im getting to that stage where i want a bigger bike to, however i think ill always   more...

Super vid! I wholeheartedly agree with the big bike versus small bike thing. I started riding over 30 years ago on a Yamaha FS1E - which was a 50cc with gears, progressed to a Honda CB125 single, nad then a Honda CB250 twin for three years (I had no   more...

I've been riding for 9 months now. I've put 7000 miles on my GS and 1000 miles on my friends CBR600. The thing that helped me the most was when I took the MSF course. I will praise that course till the day I die. I thought I knew how to ride proficiently   more...

MSF course is great for riders of all riding abilities. And is a great foundation for getting you license!

Great vid! In a lot of respects, I'm like you starting to ride a bike. I've had about 10 mins of learning when I was 14 and never had any friends that had bikes. When gas got so high last summer, ( as is will be this summer) the price of fuel was   more...
