i feel the same way when i go back to ny, i just dont see as many new and foreign cars up my way. there are however.. a shit load of really nice old american cars out in most rural places.

Yeah it can do that too. You just get used to it after a while I guess. I've had days on the M50 that left my arms feeling like noodles.

Nice thing about a naked bike is it doesn't really notice the wind so much. It just has no lifting surfaces like fairings tend to be.

Mind you, you've got nothing deflecting the rain either.

As far as rare cars go, I think the only meaningful definition more...

My whole point in the discussion that I was referring two was that the concept of rare is entirely subjective. Like Nek0 said, Ferraris are all over england, but you're not gonna see too many of them in Alabama...Just like an F150 is common here, but more...

I hate that one. 35 is a bit better, but not much. 183 isn't TOO bad, so long as you're not on it for long.

Having a bike that can't handle wind is a bad thing in Chicago. We deal with 40 to 45 mph gusts quite often. My daughters 800 Intruder was a handful in a side wind. Thankfully my Kawi and Triumph handle well in strong side winds.

My VFR is pretty stable, but it reacts quickly. Makes for a fairly unique ride.

Don't think I've ridden in 50 mile per hour winds but maybe somewhere in the 40's. I was in a town a few down from mine passing office buildings. Man when I would ride past where the buildings made an alley it was like a wind tunnel!! A few times more...

That's pretty common everywhere. Unfortunately when you get to the college level it goes from Mustangs to BMWs and Mercedes. I can't stand those people honestly. About half of them can't drive in the first place.
