its amazing... how can you do that. maybe you can teach me some tricks, lol. keep on rollin...

Posted Jan 15, 08 by Thundercat98
It's really simple just use PIP feature with the Chroma Key set to the ashphalt color. Then adjust effect level so you get one vid to bleed through to the other. Many video editors will have this capability.

That's pretty cool.

I might do another one where I have a day time and night time run side by side. Gotta figure that one out still.

Hey TC, pretty cool idea for a vid and it turned out well. I loved the soundtrack too. It was Foreigner wasn't it?

Posted Jan 14, 08 by Thundercat98
Thanks and yes it was Foreigner. Had to go deep in the hard drive archives for that one.

Now my head hurts.I,m going to try to watch this when i,m drinking.PD6 huh.

Posted Jan 14, 08 by Thundercat98
I think if you watched this when you were anything but sober you would probably need a barf bag. PD6 = Power Director 6. Thanks for watching.

Posted Jan 13, 08 by zone07
great work man; didn't know PD6 could do this.

Posted Jan 13, 08 by Thundercat98
Yeah it's not a bad little program for a consumer level product.

Thanks.

Have you ever tried overlaying a clip on itself and offsetting one a few frames? I did that a bunch in the "dream" video. You use Power Director right?

Posted Jan 14, 08 by Fudmottin
There are motion blur effects in iMovie that do something like that.

Posted Jan 13, 08 by Thundercat98
Yes I use PD6. This is the first time that I tried it. I was actually watching Top Gear on TV and I noticed how they were retracing the path of two cars on the same race track and this gave me the idea to give it a try. I think it would work better   more...

You bastard. I've been working on the exact same concept. Well not quite. But overlaying two and even three rides one on top of the other is part of the concept.

First stromrider and now you. Stealing my ideas. How are you reading my mind? I'm getting   more...

That hat blocks microwaves. Brain waves must be on another channel.

Consistent riding style? Hmmm. I guess I should run off the road more often.

Posted Jan 13, 08 by stromrider
We've seen the hat. Pathetic really.

All I can tell you about how I know is --Nature (Targ & Puthoff, 1974) anything more and you will have to be eliminated with extreme prejudice.

As far as the key frames and sync. I just copied two reels and used landmarks as begining and ending points.   more...

BTW, good synchronization. How far apart were your key frames to compensate for differences in riding speed?
