That was a very nice run. I like how smooth and wide the road appears. Also it looks like your bike is geared a lot taller than mine. I redline at about 65MPH in 1st. I would probably be more casual and run the gap in 3rd.

Yeah, it was a real nice run. My 1000RR will hit ~90 in 1st. I like staying in the power band. On some of the straights, I may hit 2nd. Once in a great while I may hit 3rd.

Yeah the two next to speed are the forward and side to side G force readings. In later designs, I did away with the side to side one. Once the bike gets into a turn the readings are not accurate because of the different forces working on the sensor as

the bike is leaned over. I'm working on a new video overlay that will be much better then this one. I did the one in this video 3 years ago on a quick idea and only spent about a week designing and building it. There are better processors out now that can do alot better. I'm stuck working in Hong Kong for the next year or so. Which really sucks because I'm already missing the Gap.

I did this 3 years ago, and still have a ton of fun watching it. I've made 200 runs of the Gap and this one was one of the cleanest without many cars or slowdowns.
