I'm glad you recognized some of them. Thanks for your support.

Two things I have in common with you... I used to read Teen Beat too (in the 70's) and I met Red Buttons too!

Wow, Nan, those were great. Celebrity was a whole different thing then, and even into the 70's. I miss some of that feeling.

You actually met Red Buttons??? I just wrote in to get his photo. Tell us about it. Tag, you're it!!! Hugs.

Very interesting, Nan. I remember all but one of these. And that James Dean photo is a real treasure! Thanks for sharing this.
Hugs!

Yes, James Dean Museum in Indiana was interested in buying my photo but unfortunately they are now closed. Glad we visited it. Hugs!

Hi Nan. Nice collection. Of course I'm too young to remember many of them, he he.

I guess that I shouldn't admit it either, because a real lady never tells her age. he he Thanks!

What a great idea. I think you were lucky to get the Dean Martin/Jerry Lewes one - I don'g think they were together that long. Say goodnight Gracie, "Goodnight Gracie."

Posted Oct 25, 08 by SisterNan
Dean and Jerry were much better as a team than either one was apart later. Jerry's done a lot for MD, good man.

To answer your question ... yes we did have the Ed Sullivan show broadcast here in Canada every Sunday Night from the C.B.S. Network in New York
Seeing these pictures made me feel older then I am but in a good way thanks for sharing

I'm sure at your age that you only watched Ed Sullivan reruns!

Those are great! Jerry Lewis had always been one of my faves growing up.

Posted Oct 25, 08 by SisterNan
Jerry sure was a great comic of the era, a master at slapstick.

George Burns and Gracie Allen..my goodness what a pair...she could make my side hurt from laughing soo hard...Thanks Sister Nan....

George would flick ashes off his cigar, followed by "Say good night Gracie".
