That's the one thing i'd be really envious of with a scooter. The underseat storage. Its fantastic!

Hey, I know what I want for Father's day now. Thanks, Cowboy for the idea.

Your welcome and it's not expensive. Around $28.00 USD

I've always wanted one of those telescoping rods. Let us know how it fishes. No two better things in life than biking and fishing!

I'll sure do it. Vid to come. ( Sometime) lol

Great news, I'm looking forward to the fishing vlog. That would be very cool.

I may have to get a bigger memory card. Edit out just the fishing. It should be about 59 seconds long. lol

That is much better than the pocket fisherman rig.

Posted May 14, 08 by theSMYRNAcowboy
Yes I think so. I never had one of those but I think this will do just fine. :)

Ive been considering tying my rods to the side of my bike and doing it that way. But that rod right there is perfect!.

I wouldnt go bass or pike fishing with it or anything but itll work for just so normal relaxing fishing, you know?

Posted May 14, 08 by theSMYRNAcowboy
I thought so myself. Haven't got to fish with it yet but I will, soon.

When I first saw you open that case I thought "Pocket Fisherman!" Pretty cool little kit. I'll have to check it out. I was thinking of using a piece of PVC pipe to hold the poles on the bike, and one of those soft tackle cases for hooks, lures and such.   more...

I had all sorts of ideas but this is what I came up with. I haven't fished with it yet but that sounds like a good vid series, ya think? LOL

My cousin had an easy way of fishing. Just turn this crank and it drained the pond. Of course then all the other cousins had to clean fish all day long. He only did cat fish farming for two years.

That is a way to do It I guess.

Do you do catch and release? If not, where do you put the ice cooler for the fish you catch?

Posted May 14, 08 by theSMYRNAcowboy
I always catch and release unless it's a 7 or 8 pound bass. I carry a small cooler in the top box for Cokes and my lunch if I plan to say awhile.

but i wonder if 600ccs of burgman fury is enough to pull the boat...

maybe a dinghy is in the future?

Posted May 14, 08 by theSMYRNAcowboy
Not a boat but it can pull a uni-trailer.

But........it's a good idea. :)
