What the fuck is wrong with people?

How can I make my feelings any more clear than this? How can people keep doing such horrible things to each other and think that it is the right option? Teenagers giving drugs to toddlers, parents killing their own kids, One Dad telling his two year old child to “stab mommy” after he stabbed her repeatedly. A Dad that is a pilot takes his daughter on a flight, which is great, then flies the plane into his mother-in-laws house killing himself and his daughter. It   more...is enough to drive someone insane. Men entrusted to us in the government lying to us and telling secrets.

Yet all along the conservatives keep hold to the “family values” that ”helped make this country great.” My considered opinion is not that the values made this country great, if it is great at all is despite the “family values” we have had. Religion is one of the worse cause of harm and destruction that this nation has had to deal with.

Thankfully our founders were wise enough and our creations occurred during the period of Enlightenment. Because of this they had the forethought to see that our nation needed to be for all the people of the nation to come. While this was not the reality at the beginning it was the purpose of this “experiment in democracy” as Franklin once put it.

In the name of religious belief our nation has burned women, pushed people from our borders and institutionalized the enslavement of entire races of people and fought to protect the same. Our “divine providence” let us to kill, lie, enslave, torture and treat with most severe harshness the very people of whose land we occupied.

Only during periods of political and judicial calmness has the light of humanity been able to shine forth, giving all men the right to vote, then later all women the right to vote. Which now the very idea of voting to those that their forefathers gave so much to earn seems like a foreign idea to them.

So again I say, what the fuck is wrong with people?

I know it may sound trivial, but why CAN”T we all get along. We don’t have to love or even like each other, but why can’t we get along? What the hell is wrong with our nation that the most simple level of human dignity and respect cannot be learned and applied to all our citizens.

But this is just one part of the equation. The other part is where is the public outrage to these actions? Why do we let our lame duck journalist sources feed us such crap as they do as where a woman’s body is buried or why some crazy woman cuts her hair off and let them get by with these as if they are news.

Why not let the public hold the journalist to account in this issue. They are the ones accountable to the public and protected by the Constitution for their work. We should be outraged they are totally failing in their job to inform the public and to server the public good.

The list of evils of our nation goes on and on, yet the only ones that offer an answer are the ones causing the problem. THIS MUST END.

Again, Paula Zahn does it again, tonight, Thursday, Feb 22, 2007, is the night she does he stupid show about "Hip Hop, art or poison?"

I wrote a few days ago about the promo itself and how stupid it was but now that she is actually doing the show she doesn't even have a panel of person that are from the Hip-Hop industry.

Her show truly represents a total lack of perception and trying to make an issue out of something that is not represented by the very stories that are within her own show.

She focuses   more...on one or two exceptions to how to make it seem evil. how evil and Helpful by the way, it would be for a story like this to be focus on Heavy metal sub culture.

This is nothing but a commercial to help the hip hop industry. art or poison? I would say Paula Zahn is poison.

What is wrong with CNN and the news? They repeat the same old stupid stories and try to take personal tragedies and make them into epic events that is really no ones business but the person or person involved. What ever happened tot he Amish community in Pennsylvania? what about the problems with alternative fuels getting to the marketplace, why can't we get our damn troops out of Iraq?

What is is going to take to stop talking about stupid crap and get people focused on thinks that are important.   more...We used to be able to do that but it seems that since the Space Program reached the Moon, and we DID reach the Moon, the collective effort of the nation has really just gone to crap.  less

Again, CNN, Paula Zahn, who never replies to my posts or e-mails I make about her show, ask the question, "Hip Hop, music or poison?"

Well I'll be sure not to pick out a Jay-Z CD for me she might come back with a bottle or arsenic.
