 | | "Open 6,50 Mini Transat Sailing" | I started sailing at a young age in Cornwall where I grew up and have since gone on to work as a full time yacht skipper. In 2003 I became the first British skipper to transit the Northwest Passage from west to east and was awarded the RCC seamanship medal as well as the RYA Yachtmaster of the year.
For the last 3 years I have been campaigning and racing Mini Transat Boats, 6.5 metre ocean going speed machines. This year (2007) I shall be competing in the 2007 singlehanded Mini Transat race along with 74 other Mini's.
