| I'm a truck driver during the week. On the weekends I like to ride my dirtbike, or videotape the NMA offroad races. It all started in 2004 when my friend read an article in the newspaper that said a new public access station was looking for programs to broadcast. He had seen my home videos of me and my friends on dirtbikes,and suggested that I put it on tv. At first I thought, "no", the quality was poor because I did the editing with 2 VCR's and a stereo. But then I remembered how hard it was to more...get information at the motorcycle dealers about where to ride dirtbikes. They didn't even know where their customers were riding them! Putting the races on TV seemed like a great way to introduce the public to this obscure sport. I went to the public access station and they taught me how to do computer editing. In return they wanted a program that they could broadcast on their channel. When I got started, I didn't even know the difference between left click, right click, and double-click. But 5 months later I had an off-road motorcycle show that was over an hour long. And they really enjoyed it because it was so different from any of the other submissions they received. Since then I've put bits and pieces of the action on Myspace, Youtube, and Livevideo.com for your entertainment. Enjoy! - Scott less |
