 | | "FEDOR ROUBTSOV" | Fedor Roubtsov was born in Sept.2, 1974, in Long Island, N.Y., where his parents worked at the time. Three year after, the family went back to Russia. Fedor started to play guitar at the age of 12. He had his first own team at 14. Inspite of the fact of his being an American citizen by burth, Fedor so far stays in Russia. Fedor Roubtsov has played with many groups of various shades of style. From 1993 to 1997 he dealt with his own project - "Case History". His team recorded three albums, after which he decided to work solo.
From 1997 to 2001 he recorded two instrumental albums, at the same
time working on musical arrangements for performers in various genres,
and as a session guitar player.
Description of Style
Fedor is experimenting in coupling electronics and sympho-rock by
placing his solo over orchestra background and vice versa. In some opuses,
his guitar technique reminds that of a violin player. Every bit of his
music is saturated with finger tricks without any detriment to the
attractive melodic line.
His music is really grows on you. After one more listening session
one feels an urge to hear it again and again, revealing new fascinating
nuances.

It may be called as an electronic guitar sympho-rock.
